My Approach
My approach is integrative, working primarily from a person centred and psychodynamic perspective. I am trauma-informed and incorporate somatic work, exploring how our experiences are held in our body. I tailor our work to you individual needs rather than expecting you to fit one particular model.
I offer a warm, grounded and compassionate space where we can gently explore your experiences together. At a pace that is guided by you, we can begin to make sense of what’s happened, reconnect with your inner strengths and discover what it feels like to truly belong to yourself.
Our experiences are not only held in our thoughts; they are often carried in our bodies too. Alongside talking therapy, I work with an awareness of the body and nervous system. Together, we’ll pay attention to both, helping you understand your experiences more fully and gently reconnect with yourself.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe that healing happens when we feel genuinely seen, heard and accepted. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where every part of you is welcome—even the parts that feel lost, ashamed, frightened or difficult to understand.
I offer 50-minute online and face-to-face sessions in Central Reading, Henley, Streatley and Pewsey.
Sessions can be for a fixed number or open ended term, which ever works best for you and your situation.
A warm, safe, thoughtful space. You can arrive as you are and we can explore together
